Fire and Ice

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.

-Robert Frost

Love this! Mind if I borrow it?

Ha! Why would I mind? Perhaps we should ask Frost if he cares :) In fact, Brooks recited this to me last month and I loved it so much I printed it here. It's definitely worthy of passing on...

Damn desire and hate. Such constant companions.

I am totally into Frost right now! I am singing two songs from the series Frostiana (his poems put into music=absolutely gorgeous music!).
